A local number where your clients are
A DID number is a phone number that is not tied to a physical line. Rent a number in a given country or county, and we forward the call to wherever you are — a phone, a mobile, a phone system or an email inbox.
Why a DID number
A business partner in Italy who sees an Italian number calls at their own local rate and never thinks about the cost of an international call. To them you are a local company, while the call actually lands in your office in Croatia.
The same works in reverse for private users: family abroad calls a domestic number at their local price, and you answer wherever you happen to be.
We offer numbers from every Croatian county as well as European and worldwide destinations, with a choice of city within the same country. Numbers are rented for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months.
Where the call goes
You change the destination yourself, in the customer portal, as often as you like:
- SIP account — to your VoIPBON number, softphone or IP phone.
- Landline or mobile — the call is passed on to the traditional phone network.
- Phone system — straight to your iPBX or vPBX.
- Email — a fax received on the DID number arrives as a PDF attachment.
- Another operator — a number rented from us can be used with a different VoIP provider.
What else comes with the number
- Multiple voice channels — two simultaneous calls as standard, extendable as needed.
- Voice menu (IVR) — a message that plays before connecting and offers a choice of department.
- Numbers in sequence — consecutively numbered lines you assign across departments and staff.
- Custom IVR applications — voice menus built around your process.
Control from your own application
Numbers can be managed programmatically over an HTTP API. Changing where a call goes, adding a number or reading its status happens from your system and takes effect immediately — without signing into the portal.
Porting an existing number
You do not have to give up the number you already use. We port it to VoIPBON, which removes the monthly subscription to your previous operator, while calls continue to be billed at our rates.
